Furniture Donation Program
The Furniture Program bridges the gap between neighbors who have items to give and neighbors who need them most. Donated furniture—beds, dressers, sofas, and more—goes directly to Washtenaw County families working to stabilize their lives and make a house a home.
About the Program
Friends In Deed accepts gently used furniture and household items, then redistributes them to low-income neighbors across Washtenaw County. Items are collected at our warehouse, sorted and prepared by volunteers, and matched with families through the Essential Services Program.
Whether you have a bed frame to give away or a family setting up a new home after a housing crisis, the Furniture Program connects community generosity with real need—one household at a time.
