Rachel Lauth graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Public Affairs Management. After earning her degree, she quickly made the move back to Southeast Michigan to be closer to family and soon found herself calling Ypsilanti home. She began her career in the nonprofit field at Friends In Deed, where she is proud to support the organization’s mission and serve the Washtenaw County community.

As Development Associate, Rachel plays a key role in advancing fundraising initiatives and enhancing the systems that drive the organization's impact. She believes that strong relationships and strong data work hand in hand to create meaningful, lasting community impact. Passionate about strong  mission-driven work, Rachel is excited to contribute to Friends in Deed's continued growth and help expand its reach throughout the community.

Care and Feeding: Rachel is happiest at home crafting, spending time with her Labrador Retriever, Raleigh, trying new food, and watching reality TV. She also loves a good adventure - tell her about your latest trip or weekend outing and you may just inspire her next addition to the adventure list.
