Cole Nelson is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and a lifelong resident of the state of Michigan. Now serving as Friends in Deed’s Furniture Coordinator, he previously worked in multiple roles at Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County in downtown Ann Arbor.Although new to the nonprofit field, Cole has lived in Ypsilanti for many years, and is passionate about ensuring that all members of the Washtenaw community are living happy and fulfilling lives. He is eager to take his knowledge, new ideas, and ingenuity and put them to good use.

‍Care and feeding: Cole enjoys kayaking in the many local rivers, and walking his Shiba-Inu named Koda. In his spare time, he likes to read, play board games, and listen to records. He enjoys Arizona iced teas to drink, and will always chow down on pretzels or gummy bears.
