Why the new look?

By

Amtheyst Floyd

Friends In Deed is driven by the needs of the people we serve and the people who serve us. It is because of this community that we are able to revitalize our brand in a way that properly reflects exactly that. FID supporters from all walks of life came together to address the root of Friends In Deed. How do we want people to feel? Why do we want people to work with us? What makes people come back to us again? The answer was simple: we are connected, inclusive, and willing.

In spite of the unique challenges we have faced the last few years - the pandemic and storms causing damage to our warehouse and communication infrastructure - we have remained true to our mission and will continue to evolve our agency in a way that adheres to our commitment to our community. ‘Helping people in need and building community to end poverty’ is more than our mission statement: it’s our promise to Washtenaw County.

We are grateful for so many people, but this season of rebranding has been made possible thanks to the help of; Treetown Murals for bringing life to our building, DO: Better for defining who we are and want to become, and Verde Media for designing our new website. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
