We’re all about fostering community unity, and fundraising serves as another means to achieve this goal. After three years of participating in Over The Edge at the Graduate Ann Arbor, we were thrilled to bring the event a bit closer to Friends in Deed at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. This move provided a wonderful opportunity to overlook this beautiful city, which is home to many of us. From the charming small shops that highlight Ypsilanti’s unique character to the majestic trees that frame the city, it was an unforgettable experience. To see it for yourself, check out the event photos here!
A big thank you goes out to the remarkable rappellers who went above and beyond their initial goal of $1,000! We’re immensely grateful for the dedication of individuals like Bob Thompson, Catherine Thornburg, Lorin Cartwright, Lachlan Rae, and each rappeller who participated. It’s also important to acknowledge the outstanding effort of the Ypsilanti Township Team. This event wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering support of our community and our supporters.
We extend our gratitude not only to our supporters but also to our sponsors. The combined contribution of $8,500 from Bank of Ann Arbor, Pollard BankNote, and Sesi Lincoln played a crucial role in propelling our mission forward.
