Essential Services Supervisor

Friends In Deed is seeking a dynamic and passionate leader to serve as our Essential Services Supervisor. This role oversees three critical programs that help neighbors navigate immediate crises: Direct Assistance, HOME ARP, and the Furniture & Warehouse Program.

The Essential Services Supervisor promotes and advances the mission and vision of Friends In Deed by ensuring these programs operate effectively and compassionately for the community we serve. This position manages the day-to-day operations and long-term success of the Essential Services programs while supporting organizational leadership initiatives.

The supervisor coordinates care and services for clients, ensuring individuals and families receive timely and appropriate support. This role also provides staff supervision and works closely with the Executive Director and Leadership Team on budgeting, fundraising planning, and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and outcomes for the Direct Assistance, HOME ARP, and Furniture/Warehouse programs
• Coordinate services for clients to ensure timely and effective support
• Supervise program staff and support their professional development
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers supporting Essential Services
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic priorities, budgeting, and fundraising planning
• Share program impact stories with media, supporters, and community partners
• Monitor program performance and analyze outcomes to strengthen service delivery
• Work with the Executive Director and staff to advance organizational goals and community impact
