Our Programs & Services

While we will consider requests on a case-by-case basis, our main programs are outlined below. The information below should help you determine if you qualify for assistance and what documentation will be required from you if you choose to apply. If your request does not fall into one of the categories, please call our Help Line (734-484-4357) between 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Direct Assistance

Our direct assistance programs involve utilities, one-time prescriptions, monthly storage, work shoes, educational supplies for adult learners, and other things on a case by case basis.

Furniture

We accept donations of used furniture and pass it on, for free, to our community’s many families in need.

Transporation

We offer car repair assistance to families who need a car to get to work and/or to obtain medical treatment for a severe condition.

Circles is a program  based on the premise that developing meaningful relationships across socio-economic lines has a dramatic impact on the effort to move families out of poverty.
